The Leadership Cohort is a two-year training led and organized by Brian Dye. Members of the cohort have the opportunity to learn practical and foundational knowledge from area pastors and teachers, receive one-on-one coaching, and establish supportive relationships with fellow church leaders.

The Leadership Cohort commits to meeting as a group of 10-15 members on the first Saturday of every month (October- May) from 8am-2pm. (Coffee and lunch provided!) Topics covered include the following: Gospel Theology, Personal Life of a Minister, Culture and Contextualization, Community Engagement, Culture of Disciple-making, Leadership Development, Team Dynamics, and Leading Through Difficulty. Members also participate in individual, once-a-month coaching sessions organized by Mark Bergin.

If you are interested in the resources The Chicago Partnership has to offer pastors and church planters but are unable to commit to the Leadership Cohort at this time, let us know! Reach out and introduce yourself by emailing us at

Urban church planting can feel like a daunting task. For this reason, we are so grateful for The Chicago Partnership for offering us coaching and training along with prayer and Financial support. By walking alongside of us in this journey, The Chicago Partnership has been a source of encouragement and a regular reminder that we are not alone.
